Material selection
The first step of making our merchandise is selecting the materials, and comparing properties such as thermal conductivity, strength, flexibility and weight. This ensures the final product functions properly and will meet our performance standards.
Design
The next step is design, drawing inspiration from characters and places in the Lofi Girl universe. Different concepts are experimented with and sketches are born. From there, color, aesthetics, silhouette and any other special details such as embroidery and ink prints are decided.
Test quality
Before bulk-producing, we need to first make sure that the final product meet performance standards. Samples of the product are tested and analysed, including stitchwork and measurements. Attention to detail is critical. If errors are spotted or the product falls short of the standards, the design is adjusted before restarting production.
Logistics
Once production is complete, we work closely with suppliers around the world to ensure the products are produced in the right quantity and ready to be delivered to patient customers on time. The suppliers are also responsible for the packaging, storage, unitization and transport.
